AI shirt try-on: preview tops and colors on your photo

A shirt try-on is a useful first test for AI outfit editing. A clear upper-body photo and a simple garment reference let you focus on color, neckline and the overall look of the top.

Frame shoulders to waist

Use a photo that includes both shoulders, the arms and the waist. Avoid cropping the sleeve area. A neutral pose with hands away from the torso is easier to work with.

Thick jackets, scarves and bags covering the chest can hide the area being changed. Choose a simpler original top where possible.

Choose a shirt reference

Upload one clearly visible T-shirt, shirt, blouse or similar top. Flat-lay references can work, as can product images on a model. Select Tops in the workspace.

If the reference contains trousers or accessories, crop toward the top while keeping its full shape. Make sure the neckline and cuffs remain visible.

Inspect small details

Look at collar shape, sleeve length and button placement. The generated image may reinterpret printed words, small logos or repeated motifs.

A convincing texture is still an approximation. You cannot determine exact weave, thickness, softness or fabric stretch from the rendering.

Compare color in context

A preview can help you judge how a color works with the rest of your outfit. Lighting and display settings can change apparent color, so compare the product photos too.

When deciding whether the shirt fits, rely on chest width, shoulder measurements, sleeve length and the seller’s size guide. The photo tool does not calculate those measurements.
