Live virtual try-on: camera video versus photo results
Live virtual try-on continuously generates edited camera video. It has different camera, connection and computing requirements from producing a single outfit image. Our current release provides still-image try-on.
What makes a try-on live?
A live system receives frames from your camera and sends back an edited video stream as you move. It must keep clothing placement reasonably consistent between frames. A camera preview alone is not AI video try-on.
Decart’s official Anywear experience uses a camera-based interaction. Decart also documents a Lucy virtual try-on service for developers. Access, billing and implementation requirements must be checked with that provider.
What you need for a camera session
The browser needs camera permission and a secure website connection. A stable connection and even lighting help. Choose a camera view that shows the body area you want to dress, and keep the clothing reference visible and uncomplicated.
If a browser blocks your camera, check the permission icon beside the website address. Close other apps that may be using the camera. You can use a photo workflow when continuous video is inconvenient.
Why video costs differ
Video services can bill for the length of generated footage instead of one image. More time on camera may therefore use more credits. Read the current pricing and any session limits before starting.
A $1.99 photo purchase on Anywear Pro buys one image generation. It does not buy a live video session or a priority slot on Decart. We do not show artificial queue counts or promise a fixed wait time.
What is available here today
You can take a still photo with your camera or upload an existing one, pair it with a garment photo and prepare a photo try-on. The result is an image that you can download.
Real-time video is a future integration, not an active feature in this release. Visit the official Decart site if you specifically need its live camera experience.
